OHV Off-Road Training

On July 22 2023, the San Benito County Search and Rescue team had an off-road OHV training and type qualifications at Hollister Hills State Vehicular Recreation Area. The team trained on a variety of skills and completed the days objectives.

Three new members / Radio Training

SAR had three members officially sworn in by San Benito County Sheriff’s Office (SBCSO) making them official members of our team.

After the oath we conducted training on radio operations, provided by San Benito County Amateur Radio Association (RACES). Covering basic radio operations, repeaters, emergency operations of radios, frequencies and more. We would like to give a big thanks to everyone for this event.

Be prepared and stay safe!
