Successful SAR Response – Missing At-Risk Senior Safely Located

On April 21, 2025, San Benito County Search and Rescue was activated in response to a Silver Alert for a missing 84-year-old woman in Hollister, CA. Our team quickly mobilized and coordinated with the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office to conduct a systematic search in rural agricultural terrain.

Volunteers established a command post, deployed multiple field teams, and worked closely with law enforcement to cover large search areas with precision. Thanks to the combined efforts and training of everyone involved, the missing subject was successfully located and reunited with family.

We are proud to support our community 24/7 and remain ready to respond at a moment’s notice. Special thanks to all the volunteers and partner agencies who contributed to the success of this mission.
